What better way to learn more about the culture of our country then to work in Australia whilst you are studying at Shafston College. Whilst we are unable to guarantee you a job we will certainly do what we can to assist in the process of finding you work. Whether it is as a waiter in a restaurant, serving drinks behind a bar, cleaning rooms in a hotel or packing shelves in a supermarket we will provide you with the Employability Skills and tips on securing that job.

Shafston's Job Ready Program is an intensive course that will give you the added advantage over other employees. The course is broken into 4 x 45minute modules over a 2 week period and includes the following:

1. Employability Skills
2. Front of House - Food & Beverage attendant
3. Front of House - Bar service
4. Back of House - Chemical & Facility Maintenance

In addition to the above 4 modules, the other outstanding benefit of Shafston's Job Ready Program is the inclusion of the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Course. This 4 hour course is mandatory for any staff involved in the sale and supply of liquor in the state of Queensland, where the majority of our positions are.

Students who complete Shafston's Job Ready Program will not only have that advantage of how to successfully secure a job, but they will also be given priority access to the number of positions that are constantly updated on our website. These positions range across the board from over 100 of our employers who are happy to work with Shafston students and assist in the job placement process.
